Best Curved Monitor Under 10000

Best Curved Monitor Under 10000

Indian market is filled with traditional flat panel monitors, but when you want the best curved monitor under 10000, there is scarcity in it. We’ve gathered around some of the best cheap curved monitors for you.

A curved monitor is a slightly bent flat panel incorporating nearly all the features a standard flat monitor uses. They offer better viewing angles and eliminate distortion. Even though curved monitors are not ideal for living rooms, they work extremely well in office environments and work-from-home setups.

A curved monitor physics ensures your eyes capture all the details at once, provides a natural field of view, and reduces eye strain. The wide viewing angle immensely benefits users’ productivity and offers widescreen space to work side-by-side. From programmers to traders, a curved monitor is an ideal choice for a multi-monitor setup and provides high-pixel density to see texts clearly.

Though curved monitors are not perfect by any means, the amount of glare they reflect is a headache and they are ideal when you are closer to the desk. Looking from a distance would result in a distorted picture and unnecessary glare.

Acer ED240Q Curved Monitor

The Acer ED240Q Curved Monitor is an entry-level curved display with acceptable picture quality and a High-resolution panel. This 24-inch monitor comes with a slightly curved display, an ideal setup for office desks and productivity.

Acer carved it with plastic and gives the straight office-orientated look. Given that it has a plastic build, there is a minor issue with wobbling and flex. Though, the rear side incorporates an aggressive look with boomerang-like red lines.

The 24-inch screen offers plenty of real estates to multitask, run two tabs side by side, and stream content. The display delivers bright colors with nearly accurate details. To put it into the numbers, it has exactly 250 nits of brightness which are pretty decent for a normal lightroom. The display has a good viewing angle and a wide viewing field to reduce eye strain. It also features a 75hz of refresh rate and 1 ms response time.

Out of the box, Acer offers 3 years of warranty making it an ideal choice to consider when you want to use the monitor for years.

To connect the monitor to the device, Acer offers one VGA and 1 HDMI port on the rear side to connect PC, Playstation, Xbox, or other peripherals. There are no display ports or Type-C ports to connect the latter supported accessories. For gamers, Acer offers AMD FreeSync technology to reduce tearing during gameplay and offer a lag-free gaming experience.

Similar to any budget monitor, the Acer ED240Q comes with bad ergonomics. The monitor doesn’t have height adjustment or swivel, it only supports tilt to adjust viewing angle.

Overall, the Acer ED240Q is a high-quality curved monitor with a crispy display, inbuilt speakers, and a fast refresh rate, but the lack of important ports and bad ergonomics may turn down some users.

Pros

  • Good picture quality
  • Decent colors
  • Bright display
  • Great viewing angle
  • 3 years of warranty

Cons

  • Bad ergonomics

Samsung 24-Inch Curved Monitor
Samsung 24-Inch Curved Monitor

The Samsung Curved Monitor delivers high picture quality, impressive text clarity, and amazing viewing angle. For those who like a premium curved monitor at cheap, the Samsung 24-inch curved panel is hands down one of the best curved monitor under 10000.

The Samsung curved monitor has all the basic features, one expects from a budget monitor. The 24-inch display offers good picture resolution, high contrast ratio, and a smooth refresh rate to scroll easily. It also sports 1 VGA and 1 HDMI cable to connect to your device.

Samsung has built it from plastic but feels rigid and strongly joins hands with the stand to give a stable viewing angle on the desk. Although the stand only tilts the panel, it offers an admirable base to the display without any major wobbling issues.

Color accuracy-wise, the Samsung monitor is probably the best in the segment. The monitor produces vivid and vibrant colors suitable for basic photo and video editing. The colors aren’t perfect but they did the job. Partially, the strength of delivering deep black during dark scenes is praiseworthy for the price. Normally, budget monitors aren’t strong suit to deliver deep colors, they distort black and when you see dark scenes during the night, they typically seem grey shade added to them. Thankfully, Samsung panels don’t have this issue.

Samsung’s 3 years of warranty is acceptable for the price and covers LCD backlight and pixel performance issues. The monitor cannot be wall mounted cause there aren’t any holes for that.

Coming to the flaws, the Samsung Monitor has reasonable flaws that we typically see in a budget monitor; bad ergonomics, limited ports, and okayish build quality. Apart from these, we haven’t found any major issues which might be deal breakers for users under a restricted budget.

Pros

  • Amazing deep colors
  • No major wobbling issue
  • Simple design
  • 3 years of warranty

Cons

  • Bad ergonomics
  • No speakers

MSI Pro MP242C Curved Monitor
MSI Pro MP242C Curved Monitor

Strictly designed for work, MSI Pro MP242C curved monitor is a good budget monitor to complete your work-from-home setup. It has a slim profile and an eye-catching look.

The MSI Pro monitor features a 23.6 Inch display with slim bezels around the three borders and a slightly thick border on the chin. The color accuracy is good and black gets dark almost all the time. The 75hz refresh rate works well on scrolling and switching from one tab to another.

The contrast ratio is good too. Having a curved panel means you’ll get good viewing angles, and the color won’t wash out on the sides. Even though it is primarily designed for office usage, the gameplay was smooth when I played GTA V and Minecraft. Even with limited FPS performance and occasional ghosting, I haven’t found any critical issues that stop me from playing games after long working hours.

The text crispness is by far the best in class, when you read documents or scroll through websites, the high pixel-density display delivers sharp text that makes it easy to read details without needing to zoom.

The display joint with a strong stand that has an aluminum base to hold the monitor tightly and eliminates any wobbling. All the ports stay in the rear side including VGA and HDMI. the headphone jack is there too to connect the external speakers. The rear side also features holes to wall mount the monitor.

The monitor also features in-built speakers works well on a few occasions, but won’t be a reliable option to see movies, stream music, or listing to meeting. Although, it’s a universal issue with any monitor speaker.

The MSI Pro MP242C Curved Monitor is probably the best-curved monitor under 10000 when you need a simply constructed monitor with good picture quality and text clarity.

Pros

  • Stunning images with deep colors
  • Slim and portable profile
  • Strong base
  • Good build quality

Cons

  • Terrible speakers
  • Bad Ergonomics

4) Zebronics AC32FHD Curved Monitor

ZEBRONICS AC32FHD
ZEBRONICS AC32FHD

Priced slightly above Rs. 10000, the Zebronics AC32FHD curved monitor is an extremely well-built monitor on a budget with terrific picture quality, plenty of room to multitask, and a gorgeous design that looks absolutely dope.

The Zebronics curved monitor features a large 32-inch panel that gives ample room to multitask freely. You can run two tabs side by side, use one to research and the other to type documents or run multiple trading charts to what’s going on in a stock market. With a screen this large, you have limited space on the desk to put other peripherals.  But if a large screen is your priority then this is the curved monitor to go after.

I have two complaints about the monitor; first, a traditional aspect ratio of 16:9 is just not enough to fully use the screen space in a better way. Now more common 16:10 or 21:9 aspect ratio does more justice to screen this large. Secondly,  1920 X 1080 resolution is okay for a screen more than 30 inches. You won’t find crispness or clarity which small screens with the same resolution offer. If you prefer larger space above anything else, the Zebrbonics monitor would be the best curved monitor under 10000.

The 32-inch panel delivers vibrant colors with an amazing contrast ratio. While they are not perfect in terms of color accuracy,  they are good enough to do graphic editing and binge-watching Netflix for hours.

When it comes to ports, Zebronics offers both VGA and HDMI ports to connect devices. There are in-built speakers too. The brightness maxed out at 250 nits and the 75hz refresh rate is there too.

The Zebronics AC32FHD comes with plenty of real estate, and good colors, and an ideal choice for productivity lovers who likes large screen on the desk.

Pros

  • Large screen
  • Good field view
  • Good color and picture quality
  • Good speakers
  • Portable and slim

Cons

  • Images might compromise on resolution
  • Resolution and aspect ratio could be better

Advantages of The Best Curved Monitor Under 10000

Immersive Viewing Experience: The curved shape of the monitor creates a more immersive viewing experience by wrapping the screen around your field of vision. It can make you feel more engaged with the content and provide a sense of depth, especially when viewing movies, gaming, or working with wide spreadsheets.

Reduced Eye Strain: Curved monitors can help reduce eye strain by minimizing the amount of eye movement required to view the entire screen. With a curved display, the distance between your eyes and the screen remains relatively constant, reducing the need for excessive eye movement and providing a more comfortable viewing experience.

Enhanced Depth and Perception: The curvature of the monitor can enhance the perception of depth, making objects on the screen appear more three-dimensional. This can be particularly beneficial for gaming and multimedia experiences, where the extra depth can add realism and immersion to the content.

Wider Field of View: Curved monitors often have a wider field of view compared to flat monitors. This wider field of view can be advantageous for multitasking, as it allows you to have multiple windows or applications open side by side without the need for extensive screen scrolling.

Minimal Distortion: Modern curved monitors are designed to minimize distortion and maintain image quality across the screen. Advanced technologies, such as uniform pixel distribution and wide viewing angles, help ensure that the image remains clear and consistent from any point on the curved display.
