After teasing for a while, Realme finally unveiled a new smartphone in the Indian market that expand its affordable Narzo Series. The Realme Narzo N55 is the successor of the Narzo 50 and Realme has made some significant changes to make it more attractive and power-efficient than the previous Narzo Models.
Realme Narzo N55 Price In India
The Realme Narzo N55 comes in two variants. The 4 GB + 64 GB starts at Rs. 10,999/- and 6 GB + 128 GB starts at Rs. 12,999/-. Both variants have Prime Blue and Prime Black colors. Realme partnered with banks to give launch discounts of Rs. 500 and Rs.1000 on respective variants. The flash sale will start on the 13th of April and the First sale will be on the 18th of April. Realme Narzo N55 Details
In a launch video, Realme stated the ‘N’ targets the Gen ‘Z’ generation, and twisting the name Realme calls it the ‘N’ generation. The smartphone is designed with keeping youth behavior in mind and prioritizing those features which Gen ‘N’ prefers. With a fresh design, lucrative features, and affordable prices, Realme maintains a balance to attract youth.
Design and Display
The Narzo N55 features a 6.72-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate. While we expected AMOLED display technology, Realme stick with traditional IPS display to cut the cost. The 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and 20:9 aspect ratio are there too. Apart from this, the 680 nits of brightness are welcoming to play games in direct sunlight.
It comes in two colors; Prism Black & Prism Blue. both colors look gorgeous and the shiny back reminds you of Narzo’s iconic reflective design.
It has a center punch-hole design display. The Realme Narzo S5 is the second smartphone that features Mini Capsule to show notifications, data usage, music control, and much more.
The 7.89mm Ultra Slim body feels slim and comfortable to hold, though it’s not the slimmest smartphone in a segment, it is still lightweight than some available in the market.
RAM and Storage
Realme Shipped Narzo N55 in two variants; 4 GB + 64 GB and 6 GB + 128 GB. Realme promises up to 12 GB dynamic RAM in a 6 GB variant with additional 6 GB dynamic memory supports through DRE technology. While I would not surely state that it will improve gaming performance dramatically, it will eventually boost gaming performance and helps you achieve better framerates.
Cameras
On the front side, the Narzo N55 is equipped with an 8 MP selfie camera to click beautiful pictures. On the rear side, it features 64 MP and a wide-angle camera to capture sharp and clear images. The camera app features night mode, AI Color Portrait, and more.
Battery Life
Supporting 33W fast charging and 5000 mAh battery capacity, The Narzo N55 expects to last for more than a day on normal usage. Plus, when you run out of juice, it can charge from 0-50% in just 29 minutes.
Important Highlights
The Realme Narzo N55 is powered by MediaTek Helio G88 Chipset based on 64-bit architecture. The graphic unit runs by Mali-G52 MC2. The Helio G88 chipset is not the power oomph, but for the price, it can deliver smooth gaming and multitasking performance.
Out of the box, it comes with Realme UI 4.0 based on Android 13 and features new icons, layout, less bloatware, and more.
The fingerprint reader is side-mounted which is usually expected from affordable smartphones. Realme also introduces Realme Safe with auto pixelate and Private Safe.
