Best Monitors For Trading In India 2024

Best Monitor For Trading In India

Multi-monitor setup for day trading is trendy among traders and to make things easier we’ve rounded up the best monitors for trading in India in 2024 to complete your setup.

What makes a monitor great for trading?

Plenty of real estate to view charts, analysis sessions, and continuously visible stock performance. But this looks great when the monitor incorporates sharp pictures, deep pixel density, and high-resolution crisp text.

Traders need to continuously keep an eye on stock prices to buy and sell stocks at the right time. So a high refresh rate panel is a must to easily refresh the page, scroll smoothly, and have less screen tearing. Moreover, if you looking for a monitor to complete your multi-monitor setup, having a thin profile in a monitor is the right way to go.

So, While shopping for a monitor keep the following things in mind:

  • The higher the resolution the sharper and clear details it will deliver; We recommend a 4K (3840 X 2160) monitor for those who don’t have a budget as a barrier, for budget lovers we recommend an FHD (1920 X 1080) panel to start a trading career, a 2K (2560 X 1080) display is sweep spot for both price and screen resolution.
  • Monitor size anywhere from 22-32 Inch to get ample screen space to research multiple windows
  • At least 1 HDMI, 1 Display port, and if you have an old generation PC, one VGA cable to connect the PC, laptop, or tablet with the display
  • A display incorporating at least 60Hz of refresh rate, the higher the better.

There are hundreds of monitors available with all of the above, but we curated the best of the best based on testing, reviews, and value for money.

1) LG Ultrawide 29WL500

2) Samsung 32 Inch 4K Monitor

3) Acer Nitro VG280K

4) BenQ EW3270U

5) Zebronics AC32FHD Monitor

1) LG Ultrawide 29WL500 – Best Monitor For Trading Setup in India

LG Ultrawide 29WL500
LG Ultrawide 29WL500
  • Screen size: 29 Inch | Aspect ratio: 21:9 | Resolution: 2560 X 1080 Pixels | Contrast Ratio: 1000:1 | Panel type: IPS | Brightness: 250cd/m2 | Refresh rate: 75Hz | Response time: 5ms | Color support: sRGB 99%, HDR 10 | Inputs: 2 X HDMI, 1 X Headphone Jack | Weight: 5.2 Kg |

Ultrawide Monitors tend to deliver better performance, more room, and crispy text and can do the job of two small separate displays in one panel. LG’s ultrawide monitors are an entry point in ultrawide segments, they are affordable, thin, and support high-resolution display.

The LG Ultrawide 29WL500 is a large, heavy, and high-quality monitor for anyone who likes to run two windows side by side, is fond of multitasking, and needs as much real estate on display without spending much. That being said, the LG monitor sports a 2K display with 2560 X 1080 resolution, a 21:9 aspect ratio (charming for cinema lovers), sRGB 99% (great color accuracy), and 250 nits of brightness.

As before mentioned, the 29-inch monitor is heavy and hard to move around. The stand is rigid with a semicircle base and includes a screw to strongly joint display and stand. With both parts being attached strongly, I have hardly found any wobbling.

The display sports HDR 10 to deliver better pictures and more vibrant colors while watching YouTube videos, streaming Netflix, or just casually watching trading courses. There are no speakers, even though monitor speakers aren’t for high quality but they are fine to watch YouTube videos and listen to music while your trading session is on. For me, that’s a bummer.

The 75Hz refresh rate is scaled up from the normal 60hz resulting in smooth and suturing-free scrolling. The rear side features connectivity ports along with holes for wall mounting. LG’s dedicated software for organizing tabs and picture quality is a great addition for convenience. It is also backed by 3 years of warranty on picture issues and pixel dots.

The LG Ultrawide 29WL500 is the best monitor for trading setup in India because of its large room, high-resolution display, and included HDR 10.

Pros

  • Stunning picture quality
  • Affordable yet high quality
  • Slim bezels

Cons

  • No Speakers

2) Samsung 32 Inch 4K Smart Monitor

Samsung 32 Inch 4K Smart Monitor
Samsung 32 Inch 4K Smart Monitor
  • Screen size: 32 Inch | Aspect ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 3840 X 2160 | Contrast Ratio: 3000:1 | Panel type: IPS | Brightness: 250cd/m2 | Refresh rate: 60Hz | Response time: 4ms | Color support: Max 16.7M, HDR 10 | Inputs: 2 X USB Port, 2 X HDMI Port, 1 X USB Type – C  | Weight: 6.5 Kg |

The Samsung 32-inch monitor is a hybrid machine that can be used as a monitor and in your spare time as a television. In short, it’s a smart monitor involving simplicity of monitor and convenience of Tizen OS to play OTT apps.

The 4K display is four times better than a standard FHD panel, details stand out clearly and with extra depth.  The 32-inch smart monitor not only sports a stunning 4K display, but supports HDR 10, in-built speakers, and marvelous picture quality.

The monitor is mostly shipped in two colors; white and black. Both look gorgeous and add beauty to your trading setup. Around the display, it depicts thin profile bezels; an ideal choice for a multi-monitor setup, and its 1.65-inch thickness makes it a modern-looking yet high-quality smart monitor.

The only gripe I have (probably from anyone who spends hefty money to purchase the monitor)  is no height adjustment, it only supports pivot which in fact easily changes, if the monitor shakes much, and alters the ideal viewing angle. Otherwise, the monitor is excellent for putting on the table or mounting on the wall (Obviously it has holes).

Build quality-wise, the Samsung Smart Monitor is best of class, the display is high-quality plastic whereas the base is metal. Combining both gives a strong grip without any wobbling.

Samsung shipped a remote control to adjust picture settings and navigate through apps backed by Tizon OS. While Samsung stays behind in ergonomics, it’s a way ahead in picture quality and text sharpness. With a contrast ratio of 3071:1, it produces black very deep and improves the background while watching dark scenes or movies.

The Samsung 32-inch Smart monitor is the best of both worlds with high-class picture quality, powerful speakers, and a slim profile making it one of the best monitors for trading in India

Pros

  • Well it’s a smart monitor
  • Thin bezels
  • Good picture quality

Cons

  • No Height adjustment

3) Acer Nitro VG280K

Acer Nitro VG280K
Acer Nitro VG280K
  • Screen size: 28 Inch | Aspect ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 3840 X 2160 | Contrast Ratio: 1000:1 | Panel type: LED | Brightness: 300cd/m2 | Refresh rate: 60Hz | Response time: 4ms | Color support: 90% DCI-P3, 1.07 Billion Colors, HDR 10 | Inputs: 2 X HDMI, 1 X Display Port  | Weight: 5.5 Kg |

Gaming monitors are a wise choice for anyone who needs something extraordinary and high-performing peripherals in their trading setup. The Acer Nitro VG280K is one of a kind monitor that lets you play, trade, and binge-watch and maintains the same performance throughout all of these tasks by putting itself as the best monitor for trading in India.

The Acer Nitro VG280K features a gorgeous-looking display with a 28-inch size, 300 nits of brightness, and 4K resolution. With a 1000:1 contrast ratio and LED black light technology, it delivers crystal-clear text, sharp images, and deep blacks. It’s not the most color-accurate panel, but you won’t find any noticeable difference unless you put two different displays side-by-side. The HDR10 is there, but it’s not praiseworthy as we’ve seen in many other monitors in this segment.

For traders, the 28-inch panel with 4K resolution is ample to keep an eye on the graph, and stock volatility and access multiple windows side by side. However, the 60Hz panel in a gaming monitor feels insufficient and sometimes stutters during scrolling or playing gaming titles.

As far as design goes, the monitor really shines in a multi-monitor setup with slim bezels, an eye-catching base, and an admirable design. It’s one of the portable 4K monitors with minor wobbling and a superior design.

As good as its design is, Acer also gives generous ports to connect accessories like laptops, PC, PlayStation, and more. With 2 HDMI and One display port, it connects all modern devices, but the lack of VGMI can be disappointing for those who still rely on it to pass the signal between monitor and PC. There are two 2W speakers for decent sound.

To navigate through the menu and change picture settings, Acer provides Display Widget software to do the job of buttons.

Pros

  • GamerOriented design
  • Portable monitor
  • Acceptable speakers
  • Affordable 4K monitor

Cons

  • No VGA

4) BenQ EW3270U

BenQ EW3270U
BenQ EW3270U
  • Screen size: 32 Inch | Aspect ratio: 16:9 | Resolution: 3840 X 2160 Pixels | Contrast Ratio: 3000:1 | Panel type: IPS | Brightness: 300cd/m2 | Refresh rate: 60Hz | Response time: 4ms | Color support: 95% DCI-P3 | Inputs: 2 X HDMI 2.0, 1 X Display Port 1.4, 1 X USB Type-C, 1 X Headphone Jack | Weight: 7.5 Kg |

BenQ is way ahead of its counterpart when it comes to offering premium features at affordable prices. The BenQ EW3270U is an extensive monitor with a 4K resolution to take your trading session to the next level.

Though it’s not a slim or portable monitor and to be exactly clear, it has a chunky design and heavy profile, when it comes to delivering high-quality pictures within a well-built design, the BenQ EW3270U is an aggressive choice.

The 32-inch display is roomy with 95% DCI-P3, 178 degrees of viewing angle, and a 16:9 aspect ratio. BenQ has designed it with strong plastic, but the base is made of metal. Though, the upper body is made of plastic. The metal base gives a tight grip to the display and maintains less wobbling. With heavy metal and plastic design, BenQ is quite heavy and needs extra care while changing positions.

The 300 peak is not the brightness standard for a 4K monitor, but if you work inside in a normally lit room it won’t bother you. However, the problem arises when you work in a sunny room with light reflection directly coming on a screen. You have to max out brightness to the fullest to view text, pictures, or trading charts.

The 3000:1 contrast ratio is more than enough to see pictures in depth with darker backgrounds or images. Plus, the 95% DCI-P3 is a welcome addition for anyone who is in graphic designing or for those who prefer accurate picture quality no matter the cost.

The ports are filled with two HDMI 2.0, one Display Port, one USB -C Port, and one headphone jack. Unsurprisingly there is no VGA port, but it includes a pair of decent speakers.

Pros

  • Clear and sharp images and texts
  • Decent brightness for indoor activities
  • Plenty of connectivity
  • Strong build quality

Cons

  • Heavy
  • Need better ergonomics

5) Zebronics AC32FHD Monitor

Zebronics AC32FHD Monitor
Zebronics AC32FHD Monitor
  • Screen size: 29 Inch | Aspect ratio: 21:9 | Resolution: 2560 X 1080 Pixels | Contrast Ratio: 1000:1 | Panel type: IPS | Brightness: 250cd/m2 | Refresh rate: 75Hz | Response time: 5ms | Color support: sRGB 99%, HDR 10 | Inputs: 2 X HDMI, 1 X Headphone Jack | Weight: 5.2 Kg |

The Zebronics AC32FHD is likely the first and only affordable 32-inch monitor that comes under 13K with great real estate. This monitor is an excellent choice for anyone who needs as large a screen as they can get without breaking a hole in their pocket.

The Zebronics monitor features a 32-inch curved display with Full HD (1920 X 1080 pixels resolution) to give high-quality pictures. But here is the catch, the 32-inch screen seems and feels large, or rather less clear with Full HD resolution. The 32-inch displays produce sharp text with details when they incorporate 4K resolution, when they have Full HD resolution they upscale text or pictures that result in less crispy text or scalable pictures.

Keeping this one drawback aside, it’s a solid choice for multitasking and binge-watching Netflix. If you compare two trading charts side-by-side or normally run two windows side-by-side you won’t find any noticeable compromise in text sharpness or crispness.

The picture color accuracy is good enough with a good contrast ratio and bright and vivid panels. Unlike any budget monitor, Zebronics doesn’t include a standard 60hz refresh rate instead it goes for a more practical 75Hz refresh rate to give smoother and tear-free scrolling.

The Built in-speakers are a decent choice for YouTube videos, Windows notification sound, and casual movie watching. Though, I wouldn’t expect much from them. They are monitor speakers inside thin profile designs and they produce mediocre audio.

The Zebronics AC32FHD Monitor is a large and spacious panel for traders that want the advantage of roomy panels and can compromise a bit on sharpness. If you’re one of them, The Zebronics AC32FHD is the best monitor for trading In India to pick on.

Pros

  • Large and roomy display
  • Average speakers with decent sound quality
  • Smooth and lag-free scrolling
  • Curved design

Cons

  • Full HD resolutions feel a bit less for a 32-Inch screen
